Joomla and Drupel are both content management systems that allow people to make their own websites. They offer a lot more customisation than the Google content management system but also require a little more knowledge and skill with web design and editing code. They are both available for free and boast a large community of programmers and designers that are there to support people trying to use these programmes to make their website.

 

If you are using Joomla or Drupel, however, you will need to find web hosting of your own. This will probably entail paying for web hosting from a web hosting company like BandwidthBar or you could avail yourself to one of the free web hosting services available on the web. As with Googles Sites, free web hosting may not be ideal for a business website as the URL will be a sub domain of the free web host’s domain.

 

Again, business websites often require more specialised functionality that free web hosts cannot or are unwilling to support. Paid web hosting is a much better option for hosting a business website made with Joomla or Drupel.

 

Free website and free hosting are to be found everywhere on the Internet. For someone who wants to try their hand at making their own little website the possibilities are nearly endless. Despite all these possibilities, however, businesses should still rather pay for both their website design and their web hosting. At the end of the day, it just looks and feels more professional.
